Good post. I just when thru the same thing.
One step I would add is to:
11A. Make sure the lines from the pump to the nozzles are clean before you run the pump or you risk plugging up your nozzles with junk. The cowl vents are easy to remove to disconnect the nozzles from the hose for this.
I got a good yuk out of your step 12, as I too learned washer fluid tastes terrible!
