Default Found this weird sm oil cap.
Looking through some stuff today, found this sm oil cap with the rivet installed backwards.

I know this is a common item, are you saying that the 53/4's ALL used a backwards rivet?

That's a "dead on the money" 53-4 6 cylinder oil cap, with the upside down rivet, the SM logo, and the S on the underside. Chuck

I think they're pretty common. Probably used on lots of GM cars of the same era. Chuck
