How many 66 BB vert's with factory air were made?
I have a 66 vert with factory air that I believe to be a real BB. I have read that there were 1,382 verts with air produced, but I can't find any info on how many were BBs. I'm curious as to how many there were. Anybody know?

In Noland's book I believe it is stated that less than 200 BB 4sp roadsters were built with A-C. I have one.
I sold my original Complete Corvette Resto & Tech Guide2 when they were out of print, so that the ebay scalpers got 1 less customer. I am looking at the revised 2nd edition (signed by Noland Adams) that I bought a couple of years later, and on pg336 the BA ecl for c60 lists 342 convertibles with c60 - and I assume some were auto - but I can't find a note on how many, so either my memory is bad (definite possibility) or I'd have to read the whole book from cover to cover again to see if I could trip over a number.
At any rate, lacking a better number, of the 27,720 1966 cars produced, 1.2% were BB A-C roadsters, not exactly a popular (but expensive) option combo back then.

Melting Slicks
Roughly 3,520 1966 Corvettes were Factory Produced with "C60" Air Conditioning. Also in 1966 there were approximately 8,358 L-36 (427ci - 390hp) cars. As already stated no one knows the exact number; but if you do the math you could probably come pretty close to your answer.
