Epoxy paint on new frame in '91. No worries in snow or rain.

I just got back from a run in the '67 BB. Will take the '99 to visit family tomorrow if it rains in VA.

Took my 67 coupe out last week for a 90 mile trip. It was cold (20*), but the highway was dry. Streets are prety wet here today. If it dries out more Christmas day I'll definately have it out for a spin.

If the roads are dry, and it is above 30, I take my car out. These conditions only yeild about 5-8 days here in the winter. I would have my car out today, if it was in one piece.

I also put storage insurance on my car in the winter, so for me, that means just around my neighborhood out in the country, no traffic.

Had my car out today for about 45 minutes - hadn't driven it for over a month. It was great (kind of like an early Christmas present).

Everyone stay safe, and have a good Christmas.

Just curious if the Northern crowd would chime in on when they take their cars out...........
If tomorrow or Christmas is like today - it is going to be really hard NOT to fire it up!

talk me out of this!!!!!!!!!!
Was 50*+ here in Alaska last weekend so the wife and I took the 61 out for an hour and a half just to clean the cob webs out of the carbs, sure felt good to run thru the gears again! This weekend is cooler at 45* and the roads are wet and rain and wind are once again predicted so the 61 is safely parked in her heated garage with her nightgown on and the battery maintainer plugged in to tickle her slightly!

Default I will..

Keep driving mine here on Long Island, NY until there is sand or salt on the road.. Don't much care how cold it is as long as the heater works..
