Tile guy claims that the "industrial tile" should do just fine. I also am in a cold area but my floors are heated which he said would make a positive difference. I have three tiles down to try them out before I commit. Thinking of doing the work area first, sees some use but no 3-4 thousand lb cars turning the wheels. At $0.63 a square foot it seems to be woth a shot. Also the choice of colors is amazing. I'm sure the price will doulbe by the time I finish with the adheasive and finish coat but I like the look and still less then half the cost of race deck.

Since I adding on to the house for a enlarged garage, I think I going to go the way of Capevettes. Do you know the actual maker of the tiles? Dennis

JohnZ,
I definitely see 2 items in your garage I wish were in mine...the Z (tell us more; original motor? colors? is that where the Z comes from in your handle?) and the Sunoco pump. Sunoco has always been my fuel of choice.

I highly recommend RaceDeck. If you shop around, you can get it for about $2.75 sq. ft. I've had it for years and love it. Under the RaceDeck is peeling/lifting epoxy that was applied after pressure washing and acid etching.http://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a17...1Image0018.jpg
