62 fuel injected roadster
Just back from a long vacation and wanting to sell my 62 roadster now that I have time again. It was restored by the Martin Brothers in their TV show on the old Velocity channel (now another name I believe) in their Iron Ressurection program about 5 years ago. It has had only about 200 miles since then as I have too many cars and don't want to get any scratches on it. The engine and fuel injection were rebuilt by the previous owner and the car runs super great but has always been hard to start. Pictures can be found on my old postings under 62 Fuely. I seem to have lost my old pictures and will only take more for a serious inquirey as I am not computer oriented. I had a trade going a year ago but the trader said the numnbers didn't match so I guess it is not a numbers matching car even though the previous owner (a friend) said it was and that he had the engine that was in it rebuilt along with the fuel injection unit). I have the receipts. I am only asking $90,000 for the car at this time to make room in my garage. It only has the removable hard top. Just put new tires on it. The 4 speed manual was rebuilt by the Martin Brothers also.

Melting Slicks
I think with the link to the previous listing and the link to the Martins Iron Resurrection show featuring the car that would be a good start. But pictures of the engine numbers, trim numbers and fuelie numbers would be a big plus, numbers matching or not. Interior Information is a little skimpy, leather, vinyl, options, 4spd ?????

Thanks for the reply. The interior is black in great shape (I will ask my mechanic if it is leather, It looks like it to me) and the trans is 4 speed manual. All works great. I can take pictures of those things soon. Pictures of the numbers you want will take some time until I get one of my mechanical friends to show me where they are. Two of them were here to start it yesterday and now I know what I was doing wrong. I will work on all those pictures but they may come in splurts. It has a radio too. The car is not perfect but I would rate it over 95%. It would help if you had a friend in the Austin area to come look at it and drive it. It drives great.

Thanks for your patience. It doesn't look like the engine is original like the buyer I bought it from told me. It wouldn't have made any fifference to me anyway but may to a prospective buyer now.
Just took some pictures of the numbers on the engine and have the followiong to offer:
1- Vin # is 20867S111280 from insurance card
2- Number on drivers side by bell housing is 3892657
3- Number on passanger side in front of block is V022IHT
4- Plate on the fuel injection is Serial 3042, part number 7017630
I can't get the pictures to attach (my computer skills are lacking)
I have pictures of these numbers if you want me to email or text them to you.

A friend that is trying to help me sell the car noted a mistake in numbers. I wrote the number for the fuel oinjection down as 7017630 (wrong) and it should be 7017360. Sorry for the confusion.
