Default 1966 Corvette Coupe, 427/425 Resto-Mod

Selling my 1966 Corvette Coupe. I've had the car for 45 years. Originally a 427/425, J-56 Power Brake, F41, 4.11 Gear Car that I've done several modifications to with the intent to keep the car looking period correct. Please PM me if interested and want specific details on the modifications/upgrades. The car was originally purchased in Hayward, California and has been in the Bay Area it's entire life. I originally bought the car from the second owner with 39K on the odometer. It now shows 54,085. The original motor dropped a valve and a replacement CE block was used as the replacement. I had the motor built to my specifications at a shop in Concord, CA and broken in on a Dyno. I did all the R&R on the motor, suspension, transmission and other various changes to the car. Suspension is all Vansteel with QA1 Coilovers. Exhaust was converted from under-car to sides using Stainless Works Side-Exhaust headers with Classic Chambered Resonator/Mufflers and reproduction Side Exhaust covers. Happy to answer any other questions and provide pictures/videos as needed.

Asking $67,500

Default Thanks everyone!

All,

Thanks for all your compliments and best wishes. I had a great time building the car and learned a lot along the way.

Best Regards,
Bruce

Great looking car.
Did you keep the original parts you took off?
Like the F41 leaf spring?

Hi Joe,

I didn't keep the F41 suspension. Sold to another C2 owner.

What number do you give the paint condition? The rest of the car is a 10.

Given that the paint is original I would give it a 6-7 out of 10 and call it a "Fifteen Footer". I personally wouldn't repaint since it's a driver but may try and get a few places touched up eventually. The interior is all original with the exception of the headliner vinyl and the steering wheel. Hope that helps!

The car looks fantastic and set up well for a driver. I would be interested it if not already committed to my 1962 build. Good luck with the sale to some lucky new owner.
