1965 Corvette Convertible **Stunning** 2 Owner car w/documented history
SOLD!!!! Congratulations to the new owner....1965 Corvette Convertible, Milano Maroon with Black Leather interior. 74,000 documented 2 owner miles, 4 speed Muncie transmission, two tops and numbers matching and born with drive-train. Complete documented vehicle history including original owners sales invoice from Rosenthal Chevrolet in Arlington, Va. Car comes with many original parts including the factory original 4 steel wheels and hub caps. Wheels pictured are reproduction of the factory knock-offs. Both sets of wheels are included with the sale. Car also comes with factory original steering wheel and reproduction of the factory optioned teak steering wheel as currently installed. Everything in the car is in fully functional and operating condition.
The car has undergone complete restoration including paint, interior, engine and drive train. All of the work was completed under the 47 year ownership of the second/current owner.
This car has won numerous awards and trophies over the past 47 years. The sale will include the following:
1) 3 inch binder that includes receipts for 95% of the work done which includes many photos.
2) 2 tops which the hardtop being in original unrestored condition.
3) 1 inch binder contains documents from the original owner
4) AM/FM radio, clock and gauges are fully functional and original to the car.
5) Sale includes numerous original parts such as alternator, carburetor, intake manifold, water pump, air cleaner housing, and many other original items too many to list.
The exterior, paint and body, chrome, stainless steel, undercarriage, engine compartment, convertible top, and glass are all in "SHOW" condition. Car has been housed in a climate-controlled garage for the past 47 years.

Answers to Forum Member Questions...
1) Engine question...car retains it's original from the factory 327-300 HP that has been completely rebuilt (specific details available).
2) Tachometer Redline-car retains the fully functional, original tachometer.
3) Intake manifold-Car has a Edlebrock Performer Intake, but sale will include the original factory date-coded manifold.
4) Carburetor-Car has a Barry Grant Demon 625 CFM carburetor, but sale will include the original factory date-coded carburetor.
5) Valve covers- Car is pictured with GM NOS Valve covers, but sale will include the original Steel valve covers.
6) Ignition system- car currently has an MSD Electronic Box & Distributor, but sale will include the original factory date-coded distributor.
7) Rear end-car retains its original date-coded 3:36 Posi traction differential.

Nice car. I would suggest you call out which h.p. engine it is. From the redline on the tach I am guessing 350 h.p?
It LOOKS like it has leather seats if so I would add to the description as that is a good selling point.
Also it looks like it has under car chambered exhaust. If I am right you should so state as many potential buyer would like to know.

The engine has an aluminum intake and the finned valve covers. Could have been added or maybe a higher h.p. engine.
