I have a 1966, Nassau Blue, 427, 390 hp Corvette for sale. It has 85,000 miles and one repaint that I am aware of. Tons of paperwork and additional information available. This car belonged to my late husband for at least the last 27 years. Appraised and Insured for $90,000.00 and I am asking $80,000.00 which is negotiable (isn't everything)?
That is the original inspection sticker as well! I also have 1966 Texas plates that have "427" on them... sounds like it was meant to be! Actually, this car was in The Woodlands/Conroe area until 2012...
Could you post pictures of the engine stamping numbers and the ID plates under the glovebox? So this car was purchased in California then immediately moved to Texas?
To put the smog back would be very expensive. The correct carburetor would be a List 3606 for a smog car, also very expensive if you had to locate one.
