Default 1965 Corvette Coupe

SOLD
This is a driver but a project car. Paint is a good 10 footer but as you get close there are blemishes. I bought it about 8 - 9 years ago with all of the below mods already on the car. My intentions were always to be able to work on it but still be able to drive it, not have a full blown project in pieces. It came with me from the east coast when I moved but now plans have changed. Hate to sell it but I can no longer work on it because of restrictions at my apt complex and also because of a back injury from last year. This is a chance for someone to get into a C2 turn key for not too much money.

Body mods to look like a 1967 (side gills, rear center reverse lamp, stinger hood, grille)
Maroon/Burgundy w/ black interior

Tag shows original Nassau Blue w/ blue interior
C3 bucket seats
Aftermarket gauges for Oil, Temp, Water
No radio (they butchered the dash and the aftermarket gauges would look good there)
Non matching numbers
496 cubic inch BB stroker motor
Aftermarket radiator / dual electric fans
MSD ignition
4 Speed
PS/MB
Hooker side pipes
American Racing rims
Rust free frame and birdcage
New fuel tank / sending unit
Clear tag/title

Issues that I know of:

PS leak (manual steering as of now)
Steering loose (steering box adjustment / rebuild)
Only gauge that works on dash is Fuel Gauge and Tach (Speedo worked until needle fell off)
Wiper motor not installed (but rebuilt one comes with car)
E-brake does not work (also set up with 67 parts)
Dashpad condition so so (but have new replacements that come with the car)
Side headliner moldings not installed (but tough to find originals come with car)
Headlight switch works intermittently
Horn doesn’t work
Driver door no longer opens from outside (probably linkage)
Crack in pass. front fender (hasn’t gotten worse since I bought it)
Wiring has seen better days (plans were to rewire the entire car at some point)

Asking $38K Car is located in San Mateo, CA

Please email at ghentschel1@verizon.net if interested. Prefer local sale but willing to look into shipping too.

If you're interested in the car, please email me for additional pics. I prefer not to post a pic of the VIN and trim tag online.
