WTB: Wanted to buy 1962 corvette project
#2
I have a solid 62 that I've been thinking about selling that could be perfect for what you're looking for. It runs and drives and looks good cruising down the street but it needs a restoration/rejuvenation. I'm in Austin Texas, its a correct motor but not original, 327 corvette motor, 2 sp power glide tranny, 4 wheel disc brakes, no soft top, does have the hard top. It was a factory soft top delete as there is no soft top hardware on the back deck. its had some light cosmetic stuff done including new carpets and a few other little things. I'm not sure what I'd want for it, probably in the range of 45k.

1962 Corvette Pro Touring Project
I have a 62 body that I just pulled out of wrecking yard that has been sitting since 1969. Planned to sell it with one of my pro touring chassis. I have it listed for $27,500 on the forum. Let me know if your interested.

Drifting
I have a 62 that would make a good project car. It is a decent driver - solid frame/suspension, currently has a 350 with Brodix heads, new McLeod clutch, DeWitts radiator, Torque Thrusts, original 4-speed and shifter, etc. Body is solid with no evidence of major repairs, but it has rear fender flares and hood scoop installed in 1969 when the car was mostly a drag car. I have rear quarters to replace the fender flares. The car was originally a big tank car with a 340 hp motor. When I bought the car a few years ago it had drag radials on Centerlines, slapper bars, and a 4:56 posi - right out of the 60's. I'll have to take better pictures if you are interested.
