Hi,
You mentioned you saw it.. did you get a chance to drive it and see of any rust issues?

Thanks,
John

Paint, etc looks a little rough. What was "very nice" that you saw?

I went to the guys house to look at a 58 Corvette he had for sale. Saw the 63 in driveway. Just looked at it for a minute. Looked clean. I was interested in the 58 didn't know he had a 63 till i got there.

It does look rough but the price looks fair. For some reason, I've had an itch for a SWC, Daytona Blue with some patina.

I'd say you'll get some patina with that one.

Isn't that the way we like to find em'? It's just dirty and old.
Someone is gonna buy it, clean it up and sell it for the high 60's.

Just for my own edification, what would be a reasonable price for a 64 coupe in the very same condition?

Also, the car (according to location = Weaver, AL) is about 2 hours from me. I could be persuaded to go take a detailed look if someone was REAL interested.

Just spoke to the seller, a really nice guy. The car looks Daytona Blue in the pics but is painted black and was originally Saddle Tan.

I like it, I would sell my 65 to get that one, however I'm sure it would be gone before I could put it together! Looks like a good driver.

Wild guess, 64 coupe, wrong engine, bad paint, pretty much needs a minimum of a full cosmetic resto plus everything else you find... 25-30?

The ad narrative says PAINT COLOR: BROWN...
That seems a bit strange..

Since the car was originally Saddle Tan, that is probably the seller's interpretation of it.
