Default 1967 Corvette - $32500 - Fire sale

I don't know the seller. I ran across this ad in our local Craigslist site and am simply sharing in case some one here is interested.

Ad:
I'm selling my 1967 Chevy Corvette 427. It is a 4 speed, has power steering, side exhaust pipes and mag wheels. All numbers match. Bloomingdale Gold. This was a fire car for which the insurance pay off was $125,000. Comes with a rebuildable title. Any questions please call Jack. $32,500.

Good idea JV, thanks. It's been up awhile? Interesting as it was the first time that I've seen it. Excellent advice though, no doubt research this one. I wonder what if any value was lost if it ever is restored yet comes with a rebuilt title. Hopefully the owner made out ok as I know I would be devastated...

If a person could do most all the repair work there self and not have to pay for labor they MAY come out OK but with a Salvage Title it is hard to say what a person could sell it for it it were restored or what a person would pay for a BB Salvage Car. Could be an interesting coin flip

Aren't they like male strippers or something?

Looks like there is a LOT of that car toasted. Seems a bit overpriced to me, and nobody snapped it up as a Christmas present to themself.
