If your budget grows and you are willing go further than 100 miles... My listing for a 1967 would be a perfect car for you. Mechanically it is a 10, cosmetically it is a 7. $20,000 was spent on it in the last decade.

I have a 64 convertible in Ct. It is red with a white interior and white soft top. It also has a hard top. This car is a very dependable driver, 327/365 4sp.In the summer monthsI drive it to work daily (about 15 miles round trip) only on dry days. I purchased it in 2010 and have kept it fully operational. It is stored indoors from Nov toMarch or April. It has side pipes that sound great, front disc brakes (conversion kit),power brakes but no AC or pow steering. All dash components (radio, speedo, tach, gauges, clock) are in working order. The odometer is stuck at 84091. I believe the actual mileage is about 95k
The car has low wear Michellin red line radials that I purchased from Diamondback and 68 Corvette rally wheels. It drives really well and looks pretty good from 15 feet. There are numerous flaws in the body however the lights open and close properly. This is no show car but it is a pleasure in it's intended "driver" state.
I ordered a new Corvette today and am about to list this for sale on the internet. I have more Corvettes than garages or I wouldn't part with it. I am asking $37,000. I'm in center / south Connecticut if you' like to check her out. Also, it is NOM 65 327. Contact me for pics via text/cell. Joe 860 913-6220

There was a good looking black '67 roadster listed in the Hudson Valley craigslist today, asking $42k. (no affiliation) Had a few modifications but the seller said he has parts to return to stock. Put a link to it on my blog: LINK
