Timmah, yes you did call, I still have my car for sale but its not a L-79.

If I dont sell it in 2 weeks I will keep it for this season. I have your number and will call if I sell the top.

There were 3 of these at Mecum last year in Indianapolis, which i thought was bizarre since it is such a rare color. I'll be headed there next month and will keep my eye out for you. When this color is mixed correctly, it is stunning! I never like it with the dark green interior, but it really is a fantastic exterior color that compliments the curves of the midyear vettes!

I was at a local car show here in South Florida back in January and a guy was selling a Mosport green convertible. I spoke to him briefly and he told me that the car just had a "complete restoration" by Fabulous Restorations in the Fort Lauderdale area. The car was definitely painted and looked nice, but other things looked "unrestored" such as the dash and knock-offs. He will have to give you more details about the car, but it appears that it can be very nice with minimal work. I'm not sure if he is motivated because when I asked how much he was asking for the car, he told me $ 75K. 62 bids went for $63K. Cali. car. Looked nice. I wonder if it is really sold? Seems to me to be underpriced based on the pix. and what it is. Can not believe that anyone would sell that cheap. Would you if you owned it?

If this was a real auction with no shill bidding by the seller or someone known to them, then this is a real time example of what buyers are willing to pay in the real world. We see so many cars priced by sellers. Here is one priced by a buyer. Looks like a good deal on a BB car. IMO. Seems like a good price for a L79 Mosport in like condition. I thought a BB would bring 10-15K more.
