WANTED: Looking for Next Project COUPE
I'm looking for another 63-67 Coupe project for a restomod. I prefer it to still be mostly together and complete, but will make an exception if the price is right. Fiberglass damage is ok if it has not been repaired by a Bubba.
Please contact me if you have a project for sale that is not matching numbers. I dont care to build an original car into a restomod, but if it does not have the original motor, game on!
Thanks!

This one has been out there a long time so maybe the price is flexible by now?

Not mine but definitely a project.

The 64 looks like a decent deal due to the parts with it, but that 65 looks like a jigsaw puzzle of fiberglass mishaps.
I appreciate the links though!!!

I would have thought that the 65 would be a great candidate for a restomod project?! It isn't numbers matching or a trailer queen so you wouldn't be modifying a nice, original example...

The problem with the 65 is that the guy is advertising it as starting at 13,500 and excepting bids in 200 dollar increments, or something like that.
It's a jig puzzle of used and original fiberglass and who knows what is underneath. check out the pools of fiberglass in the front fenders near the hood opening and where it dips down on the passenger side-not good. The biggest downside is that it is missing almost all of the parts-vent windows, wiper grilles, upper roof grilles, bumpers, bumper brackets, etc. The savings just arent there. yes, it seems cheap, but by the time parts are located and purchased, that car will be in the 30,000 range before paint or any other purchases.
