Default 1962 corvette project

1962 corvette- Last registered 1975. Complete project NOM car. Body is stripped to bare glass, excellent except old repair LH rear behind door. Has all it's trim, interior. New dash pad GM included. Soft top car with usable black top. Orig. color is Honduras Maroon. Hard top has all new plexi in wrappers. Trans is orig. and stock T handle shifter. Rear is factory posi. Back bumpers have been replated. VIN still on steering column. Needs complete restoration. Okay now the bad news. Frame has a rust issue behind the drivers door. This is a very complete 62 Vette with a replacement motor. Perfect candidate for a restomod, street car or NCRS. Asking $21,000. No pictures until the 24th of the month. Call (860) 913-4680 for details IF serious. Located in CT. No, it does not run. Don't call unless you know what PROJECT means. No postings or usual drama please.

SOLD- SOLD- One guy actually picked up the phone and called about this car, instead of waiting by the computer for pictures to appear. And then he was MOTIVATED enough to come look at it and a deal was made. Keep on dreaming all you wannabees !!

Sure there are a lot of wannabes and picture hoarders but there are also some of us that are looking for C1/C2's and willing to buy a car from a distance. Impossible to "swing by" to see a CT car when you live in GA. Congrats on your sale, but there's no doubt that sellers increase the number of potential buyers with full description and a complete set of pics...and especially a fair price.

Gosh...
The guy flew all the way across the US to see your project without getting pictures first?

Or did he live close enough by to drive an hour or so?

Congrats on the sale.

I agree with the above agreements. A little angry sounding there. I don't think it is out of line to want to see pics before committing to go any distance to see a car, especially one described as a project car. That means a whole lot of different things to different people. Anyway, glad you sold it, but probably glad it wasn't me.

People here weren't waiting for the pictures to 'appear'. They were waiting for you to post them. I just assumed you were too lazy or didn't know how to post pictures. Right car, right place, right time, right buyer - got lucky. I'm glad you got the $21, oh wait, $19K.

Well the peanut gallery has spoken. And it's the usual ********. Or the normal drama for this site. I for one choose to limit time spent with those who do not appreciate the simple actions of others. Can't remember when someone emailed back that they got the pictures and by the way... thank you. I think you are all angry because you did not get pictures that you could critique and add your 2 cents on. Bingo. Nailed you. Like I said, I limit......
