Isn't this a good price for a 63?

It is an old listing so hopefully this isnt a rules violation, but dont SWC's go for more than this normally? It got 0 bids.

My guess is that amount of $34.5k was just his starting bid, and he probably had a reserve amount set higher than that.

There was no reserve on the car. The seller has never sold anything on e-bay before and had only bought one thing and that could have been from a friend, who knows. Most people shy away from a car like that if the sell has no feedback to look at. They think SCAM. If someone was interested they should have asked if someone knew the car or seller or lived close to it and could check it out. As far as the price of the car, there looked like there would have been a lot of work to do on that car but if someone could do the work there self then it would have been an OK buy, not great but Ok. I would not wanted to have paid more then that for it.

Not sure what rules violation you are thinking of.
Mike is right about people shying away from low-feedback car sellers, which is a mistake.
If Im buying small stuff on ebay, I might think someone with low feedback might be a rookie I dont want to deal with. However, it is not uncommon for someone selling a car to list on ebay for the first time. Lots of people will say, "put it on ebay or Craigslist" and they have never sold stuff there before.
Some people selling cars have all kinds of feedback selling knick-knacks. Doesnt make them a good car seller either. people just jump to conclusions, especially on ebay. They see a scam around every corner.

PS, its a 350, no bumpers, dull paint, no underside pictures low end car. No idea what the interior looks like. Gauges dont work. No great buy there.

It is a project car. I think there is someone on the forum looking for a 63 projest car. They may want to look at this car, but I would offer them less they they are asking.

Didn't think you could post ebay links. Anyway the car does have bumpers but no mounts as I read it. Would have been nice with interior pics I guess. I just dont remember seeing a 63 SWC for less this low for a long time. Does sound like it needs work but having a 63 SWC has been a dream of mine for a while.

As far as the windshield trim moldings and the doors you are correct sir. 63's wrap the stainless completely around the windshield frame and on the leading edge of the doors in front of the vent windows.
