That seems like a pretty good price.
If I was close to that car I would be checking it out to.
Good luck!

Looks like a 66/67 grill and it's missing the license plate bracket. Wrong air cleaner. The interior and exterior colors are correct. No frame pics. Hard to read the #s. 365 horse with a 4 speed should have an HK suffix w/o AC. Not a bad price for a 365 horse but look for front end repairs and frame issues. Good luck

You must have a better picture than I do. It looks like the correct grille for a 65. Black horizontal bars, chrome surround. I can't see any vertical bars like the 66, 67.

Default Looks very interesting

Motor stamping look good to me. HH code is 365hp 4 spd, no A/C.

Sidepipes could be original. St. Louis body. Look to see evidence of rocker brackets bent back or cut off.

Big block rear sway bar added. Easily removed.

If frame, birdcage and front panels check out -- good buy, I'd say.

with only 2 sales showing on fle bay and no reply from the guy so you could go see it makes you wonder if it is a real deal or not? Just an idea with that low of sales and he is trying to sell a Vette already.

XX= Yellow. Vin tag and engine dates line up. I think it may be original engine, but paint remover on the pad is needed for final check. Note the extra belt and idler pulley that was on all 365 and fuel injection engines. That way, if you lose your fan belt at 6500 high rpm, which was common, you still have the idler belt to keep the water pump turning. Who needs a fan at race speed.

He says he has paperwork, and if so that is great. Red is nice, but a repaint back to correct yellow will cost a bunch.
At 38500, it is a 'fair' price, but 32-35 would be even better.

Nutsy sorry for the errors in my post. XX is in fact Goldwood yellow and it should be an HH suffix in a non-AC car. The pic looked to me like the 66/67 egg crate grill but hard to tell.

Think about this. If you were selling the car (and it was real) and you had a guy wanting to buy it who only lived 1/2 hr. away and wanted to cme look at it. Would't you do what ever you had to do t provide the time to let the guy come look at it. After all you aer wanting to sell it. That part sounds very funny to me, not getting back with you to set up a day or time to see the car. Just be careful. Sounds like to me.

thought the same thing when I read the post. Buyer beware, but continue pushing the seller! Good luck.

Not that it's any big deal, but somebody reversed the lens in all the dash gauges. They should be concave. Too many reflections in them because they're reversed.

I'm pretty sure that's an optical illusion. Mine are correct and in some pictures you would swear they are reversed. I don't think they will even fit reversed because of the bevel on the edge. Best bet is to look in person and forget all the pictures.

They can be reversed. I've seen it many times. Look at the oil pressure guage, what looks like a crack in the lens is actually the steering wheel. They made them concave so you wouldn't get all the reflections. They might not be reversed, but it sure looks like it.

It's definitely a 65 grill. Nice looking car. Check it out really close or have someone familiar with C-2's do it for you. It is odd that the seller doesn't return your call. That's a major red flag. Maybe he's hiding something that he wants to pawn off on an unsuspecting E-Bayer where it will be too late once it's bought. I hope it works out for you.

Jim
