Default PDR won’t record lap times

I had this problem before at Road Atlanta and I don’t remember what I did to fix it.

The PDR will start recording but it won’t recognize when a lap has been done. What am I doing wrong or how do I set it up?

Did you mark the start finish line? Thats what the PDR uses for lap times

There is an option to “mark start/finish”. You press that and then there is a button you press when you are at the start finish line and it will gos locate it to record your lap times.

make sure your pdr mode is set to circuit/track(may be remembering the name wrong.

Do you or anyone happen to know where that button is?

When you go to start a track recording for the PDR, you have to set it up as a new track. Once you set it as a new track, it will have a button you hit after you cross start/finish after the out lap. The button won't be there unless you are setting up a new track

Not sure if that is your problem or not, but it's a good place to start.

So here is what I’m doing. I get up to grid click custom track then relearn then click record. There is no start stop button.

If I'm remembering correctly, you click "circuit" or "autocross" when you get to the start line. After you hit learn, what does it say?

EDIT: Should have known Poor-sha has a video:

Just note that the procedure/interface is slightly different for the C7 (gen 1 PDR) and C8 (gen 2 PDR).

I ended up taking another route. On the other mid engine corvette forum someone posted links to a lot of tracks. Download the gpx files then put them on the root of your SD card and your golden.

I was just getting ready to post up my RA map file. I find it easiest to have a separate SD card for each track so I only have to set it up once.

For the PDR2 in the C8 you can have multiple gpx files on the same card. Just rename them to the track and that’ll show up in the list in the car.

For the C7 I also use a different card per track, for the C8 and Blackwing I just load them all on the same 256 GB card.
