Default Trackspec T1 hood louvers

I am looking for hood louvers for my C6. I saw the Trackspec T1 kit which looks fine.

Are there any others of equal or better quality, fit and performance to the T1's I should look at before I pull the trigger?

Thanks!

If you haven't bought the kit yet I'd ask Track Spec about a kit using their GT2 center vent along with the extra smaller side vents from the T1 kit. The GT2 center vent is a little larger I believe.

I have not ordered yet.

Larger would be good. The GT2 looks to have rounded edges and corners on the side vents are square. Not sure they would look good together.

I don't like the look of the pop rivets. Any reason I could not use button bolts with double nuts instead of rivets?

Nope. I used small bolts and nuts the first time I installed my TrackSpec vents. It's a pain to install unless you have someone to help when you're tightening the nuts but it worked fine. You may find that if a hole lands in/near the hood inner structure that you'll have a hard time getting the nut on so it may require more trimming. When I installed the vents in my second hood I just used rivets. If it's the color that's throwing you off you can get black coated rivets.

This is good advice. Trackspec has numerous other vent styles they can recommend. John at Trackspec is a wealth of information.

I used countersunk M3 screws, to get the screw heads ~flush with the vent. Requires a 90 deg countersink tool.
Details on my T1 install here: https://www.z06.eu/2022/05/trackspec-c1-hood-vent.html

Tracspec can supply black anodised rivets as an option.
