I just sold my original vette 4 years ago. I would have kept it forever if it had a worthy transmission, but that 4L60 was something that I hated.
I've got a pair of cars with the ZF 8 speed now. Talk about a transmission! I love that one.

Joined when I bought the car 1999 when I was still living in Dallas, 1998
Still have pics of the Detroit race, I'll dig them up later.
