Default Square vs staggered wheel/tires

Hoping to get input on Pros and Cons of square vs staggered tire/wheel sizes. I saw a YouTube video and the man had a C5 Z06 said going square plus new anti sway bars and smaller diameter steering wheel improved handling substantially. I'm not planning on tracking my car other then possibly an occasional track day but wanted peoples input in general. Thinking that front wheel well would limit tire size.
Corvettes have been made with staggered wheel/tire sizes for a long time and wonder if similar performance can't be equaled with staggered setups?
moderators, help sorry I wrongly posted this under wheels and tires and didn’t know how to move this?
