Default G2 Performance Nankang Tires are here

Hi guys,

I have taken on importing the Nankang tire Track tire line under the company name "G2 Performance" G2Perf.com You can go on line to see what is available and check out the prices which are really good.

We used The NS-2R tires in the WRL racing 16 hour races and set the fastest lap at COTA and one car finished 2nd, then the team went to Barber Motorsports park and the Corvette finished second in the first race and First in the next race. They are a very durable track tire.

The AR-1 tires, 100 wear rate have tested faster than the Toyo R888-R tires as well. So they are a fast tire that costs less. Nankang did a joint venture with Yokohama tire engineers to produce these tires.

Stop by the web site and check out your size and price. We can ship anywhere in the US. Contact us at LouGig2882@gmail.com

Thanks

Lou Gigliotti

Recommended rim size for the 315/30/18 AR-1?

I have a set of 18x11 and 18x13 wheels. Considering 295/30/18 and 315/30/18 AR-1s.

Lou,

Would either of these tires be good for auto cross that might not build much heat?

Thanks

I'd like to see more testing against nt01 and r888r. These are actually more expensive than both in the same sizes. Hard to beat wholesale pricing.

Show me the price of the other tires. I doubt that they are less expensive than these Nankang tires. check these two prices below, What Am I missing?

Just an example with the 200 wear rate tires

Nankang 285/30-20 sells for $249

Toyo R888R sells for $417.81

I'm glad we have another tire option but Nankang has got to get into the game and offer at least a 335 series tire for the rear of Vettes, Vipers, etc. I see this a lot with the Asian tires....'Merica needs big.
Also a lot of online tire sales are free shipping.....it's just he way of the world right now. The days of no sales tax for online sales are going away so that makes the playing field more even when comparing against your local tire store.

I watched the above video when comparing the Toyo, Maxxis and Nankang....I would have like the driver to not know which tire he was driving on when doing the test. Would have made a lot more sense to me.

As others have said, I'd love to see a true comparison between this new Nankang and the Nitto NT-01.

Free shipping comes with a higher retail tire price. nothing is free but this tire is faster and appears to have a longer life than others.

The Reason I took on these tires ------I was driving a BMW at Nurburgring and the tires were so different and stuck really good that I had to ask what they were. Nankang was the answer I got

So i asked where we could get them in the US and they said they were just setting up a distributor for these two compounds in America, I asked if we could talk about me being one of the distributors and the rest is history.

We finished 2nd at COTA in a WRL race and the two corvettes running 285/35-18 NS-2R harder tires finished 2nd and 1st at the next race in brimming ham. PLUS I set the fastest lap of the race over cars with Toyo and Dunlop and all the others

This video is from Nurburgring last september. that was when I drove on these tires.
everyone has a choice, Pick whatever tire you want. but I would bet you will come back to Nankang. (but that is just me talking)
