Default C5 T1 Sway Bar Bushings

Those with T1 Sway bars what are you doing for sway bar bushings since the GMPP bushings are basically impossible to find/discontinued?

Any luck finding these? It's about time to replace the ones on my rear bar.

VanSteel I believe has T1 size sway bar bushings.

Default Prothane T1 Bushings

I bought Prothane, part numbers are 7-1178 and 7-1179. Grease comes with the bushing. Hope this helps!

LG is making T1 rep bars and bushings for spec corvette now so they'll have them for sure.

The discontinuation was relatively recent with no warning. We're making something work for now but we'll have exact replica's of the T1 rear in the near future as that's what we were using for our sways.

Just a heads up to correct this. Spec Corvette makes the SCT-1 bars for Spec corvette Racing, not LG. The LG bar set up is not the same as the SCT-1 or the GM T1 dimensionally in the front so keep that in Mind with bushings.

We also sell the bushings for 35$ in red poly that fits the Spec bars and T1 bars front and rear as a service replacement. The SCT-1 bars are 499$.

Let me know if you have any other questions! Thx

A couple of weeks ago I was able to purchase two new front GM T1 bar bushings but could only get one for the rear bar. Haven't found anyone with another rear.

GM discontinued the front and rear bushings, poly is your only option until ours come out.

Prothane 7-1177 is a 32mm FRONT poly bushing

Not sure the size of the bars in question that you need bushings for, but Prothane makes multiple sizes for C5/C6 front and rear swayer bushings.

I bought a 32mm poly for a C6 ZR1 bar and 23mm for stock C5Z rear bar.
