Default Spec Corvette goes to WSIR

Here is Oli Thordarson's Spec Corvette.

He posts on Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?f...type=3&theater
He says, "Giving my #22 Spec ThorVette the once over at Corvette shop Attracktion before driving it 150 miles to Willow Springs for the race on Saturday."

John Nguyen and Christian Paluzzi are driving their Spec Corvettes to the track, along with veteran T1 racer retired Steve Schmidt.

We expect a 10 car field at our third ever Spec Corvette race weekend. Many more cars are in SoCal are expected to be finished in the next couple of months, along with several others around the country.

The most fun I have ever had driving to Willow Springs. I drove with John Nguyen in his Spec Corvette and Steve in his C7. Steve had us take the detour through Angeles Crest Highway and there was almost no traffic.

Spec Corvettes are versatile. I drove mine, as did John Nguyen, 150 miles to the track, practiced, qualified and did two races, and then drive them 150 miles home. Mine podiumed twice. Stopping for pizza with your other Spec Corvette racing buddies on the way home to relish the racing is the icing.

Nice clear run from Angeles Forest to Upper Big Tujunga. Great fun on the road and running the C7 at the track! (Boy am I rusty!)

Which is why there is a SpecCorvette in your future. It would be cool if you and Dr. B shared a SpecCorvette. It is only a 50% commitment.

Great video. That looks like tight racing in every way.
