Insane. I've driven up Mt Washington in a C5 once and that was enough for me. Never mind trying to do it at speed. Pike's Peak was nothing compared to Washington. That is still the king of the hill climbs in terms of insanity.

Thanks Brian for posting the video. The 240Z crashed on the first practice day, that all gave us pause. Driving the C5Z in the New England Hillclimb series was getting too dangerous for me, so I am now driving my STI rally car, much easier to drive and much slower! But Mt Washington remains a really epic drive, there is not much margin for error.
With our mandated 34mm restrictor the car only revs up to 5k rpm and it's pretty heavy but the grip is real fun! We finished only 8 seconds behind Tim O'Neil in his prepared Focus RS and Tim broke his previous record at the hill, so we are pretty happy to take 3rd place behind him!
We had a moment at Cragway (the big dirt hairpin) when I waved a little bit too early to the spectators...
