John:

Glad you finally got that BEAST back on the track. I plan to be there also, but I'll be there only on Friday and Saturday. It's about a 4.5 hour trip for me from the Philadelphia area. Where are you staying? I'll be at the Seneca Lodge. A few guys from the Phily area are coming up. It should be a blast. See you there.

I will not make it do to work and only 600 miles on the cars new engine I had to remove the brand new rear end and replace it which was a set back. I never got my Sparco seat in and my new belts :cry Some people said go and take it easy, but if I am going to spend money that is the last thing I want to do. I guess the Glen will have to wait till next year. Work is preventing me somewhat. I need to get some equipment in shape and some bids done  Jim sorry I won't get to hang with you and sorry I won't get to see some new people. Keep us posted how it goes. I figure I would have to leave Thur and would not be back till Mon. This whole year has been very dissappointing with no car. :seeya

I just checked the weather forecast for Fir, Sat, and Sun at Watkins Glen. There is a 40% chance of showers on Fri, 30% of showers on Sat, and Sunday should be partly cloudy. High temps should be mid 70's. I'm bringing both my Hoosiers, in case it does dry out, and my Michelin Pilot Sports if the track is wet. See y'all there. :D

Sorry you can't make it John. I'm planning to be at a Car Guys event at Summit Point, Nov 15-17 if it doesn't snow by then.
