Hillclimb
Not sure if anyone else is doing hillbclimbs with their Vettes on the forum.
I have a playlist of my YouTube videos here:
I'd be happy to know more about your experience and setup to help me improve!

Nice playlist, more than worthy of a vodka/martini. No suggestions at all on your driving, I know nothing of hillclimb.
Do you get pre runs?
Do you get multiple runs?
Is Princess a hottie (looks like it).
Are these private roads (I saw a ski lift)?
You are having way too much fun, us frogs know how to eh?
Thanks, great editing & playlist.

For rookies, on Friday night there is rookie orientation where they take you up the hill in a truck and review the different turns, things to pay attention too, dangerous bumps and other caveats, accident prone corners, etc...
Each race day, before the first run, there is a familiarization run where everybody goes up the hill at the same time at a sustained pace. That gives you a chance to review the hill conditions before the first run.
Yes, between 2/3 runs in the morning and 2/3 runs in the afternoon. It depends on the hill, number of drivers and number of issues (car breaking down, accidents where we need the send the wrecker and/or ambulance), etc... On a very bad day, with a lot of crashes and breakdowns you might just get 3 runs.
Yes she is, that's why I married her
We sure do! Next stop, Burke VT next weekend. Need to get 1st place again to stay in the race for the championship!

I was working Polish Mountain Sunday, 3 August, station seven, a few weeks back. Tons of fun. Saw your runs, Opel, and it was good to see a couple of Vettes on course that day. Looked good.
A couple of conclusions about the sport: (i) You've got to be a little bit nuts. It's dangerous: no run off, the road is a little bit crowned, not flat like a race track, so the camber is not quite what you expect; the straights aren't quite straight. These are public roads, after all. not made for racing. (ii) I've really got to try it some day.

Safety Car
I ran PHA hill climbs for a number of years. I loved them. One of the cars I ran was this Mini
They're a lot like Solos except you're going faster and for a longer distance.
As for pre runs I never did them. Some folks would do them on Friday afternoon in a street car. I never did that because I never wanted to know how far down I would go if I left the road.
The ultimate Corvette was Kerry Hitt. He actually use an old Greenwood car with a huge engine. "The Hitt man is on the hill." You could hear that car all the way up the mountain.

But next year I expect to see you running the hill.
And if you do make sure you stop by and say hi.
