Default Just a little 2:24 (new personal best) at Sebring

Car was being datalogged so we can tweak a few things...

Car is a 2010 ZR1

I'm currently out of fuel injector up top (still on factory injectors with 715hp), and definitely need to fine tune the nut behind the wheel. Need to work on better braking and more corner speed

My 5 time at the track ever, but I don't think I'm afraid to drive, LOL

Nice driving and some pretty good lines! What kind of tires are you running? With a little bit cooler temps there's probably another 10 seconds or so left to find. Most of it will be in Turns 17 and 1.

Continental race scrubs from GT racing tires on here. There is certainly more time there, but not 10 seconds. One if the shop car/full race prep 636hp z06's turns 2:14's on his best days. Usually 2:16-17's. I can probably get into the 2:20-2:22 range with some bigger ***** and fixing my fuel cut up top for the full throttle blasts. I've been told I have great lines from some of the real racers I have played with out there. I'm pretty comfortable at Sebring.

Nice driving. And as Mike said you definitely could easily run sub 2:20's in that thing without a sweat. Track out more and get on the throttle earlier in 16 and 17 and you could carry a lot more speed on those straights.

Also, stay in the throttle more heading up to 10 and you could carry more as well.

With some more seat time 2:14's will be getting closer and closer.

Cool vid.

Nice!

I'm feeling slow with my low 2:30s (on R888s) now. Where's all the traffic? It looks like you had the track all to yourself!

Congrats! Appears to be second and third gear with a couple of opportunities in 4th. Is this the 2.29 trans with 3.42 diff ratio? What size are the rear tires?

Anyone running this set up with 3.90 or 4.10 gears?

Best secret to open track... Grid fast. If you are one if the first cars out, you quickly get in front and have open track for a few laps.

It also helps to be fast

Thanks for the advice guys. I'd love to get into the 2:1x's. With more seat time. I think I can

It's stock zr1 gearing. I only use 2,3, and 4th

Tires are continental race scrubs. I'll have to get the sizes. I'm running 18x11 ccws in front 18x13 rears

I agree with this. 16 and 17 need help. Good apex on 16. You have tons of room on the exit of 16 to open up lock and power out sooner.
Everyone will tell you a different story on how to take 17. I can tell you that I stay tight under the bridge and once i can start to see the the front straight opening up I go flat and run all the way to the outside wall.

Also as I exit 4 I head in a much straighter line towards 5. This cuts distance traveled down by making a shorter path. Again in 5 you have a lot of room to track out.

It looks like you turned in too soon into 10 resulting in a slight early apex.

I really like your Bishops through 15!

Not trying to be negative just my opinion on where you may have more wiggle room. Great driving with such a handful of a car!!! Would love to run with you some day, and if not I want more video!
I run with PCA so my encounters with Vettes are slim.

No negative taken at all! I appreciate all the input. I agree on 16 and a lot of where I can pick up speed. The car hits a glass ceiling right now with its fuel injector. With fuel being fixed, I should gain about 10mph front and back stretch. I'm currebtky doing close to 150 on the back and 140 on the front, however with the car cold, I've seen 150 on the front and will likely do 160 on the back and gain some time there.
