Default Right rear tire rub .

My lowered on stock bolts C5 with 20" tires installed @ rear is rubbing on fender lip only on right side when I have a passenger . Was at Homestead H.O.D. On 7/6 with my driving coach ridding shotgun and had tire rub on right side only . Inspected rear suspension but did not find anything wrong . Could it be a worn shock?

Really doubt its a shock. Shocks don't affect ride height much.

C5 with 20"s Lowered, looks slammed in photo? What tire size circumference, width & wheel offset?

If its the same offset and tire diameter as stock you may be OK, but offset is critical when you start to lower with the loads Rovals put on suspension. Do you have stock sway bars?

Homestead roval with a passenger and a full tank is a bunch of weight on the right rear.

Right rear takes a beating at Daytona and Homestead.

Most guys I know with track cars are lowered a bit but not slammed as its easy to wear through fender liners on track.

Most likely just need to raise car and do a good alignment.

Read this whole thing and you will get alot of great info.
