Sorry we already have a good brake sponsor!

JK - I have contact info if you need it.

We'll be there as well for the fifth year.

Rotors and pads will be raffled again as well and stop by our trailer to say Hi.

Always a great event, I've been thinking Of VIR since the Sebring event.
Wondering if there going to do tech insp at the track if you have a trailer to drop off the night before.

1) All students must have the Pre-Event Safety Inspection Check-List Form (Page 3) completed by a mechanic no more than 30 days prior to the event. Advanced and Instructors see #5 and #6 below
2) Tech Inspection/Registration for all participants will take place at the front of the Sleep Inn in Danville from approximately 2:00 pm until 5:00 pm, Sunday, June 29, 2014.
3) All beginner and Intermediate students must bring the completed Pre-Event Safety Inspection Check-List Form (Page 3) along with the blank Event Day-Inspection-Form (Page 4) to the Tech Inspection. If your car is not inspected, you will not be allowed on the track.
4) Advanced students and instructors can self tech cars prior to the event and should bring the Event Day Inspection Form (Page 4) to the Tech Inspection to receive your tech sticker.
5) After your car has been tech inspected both students and instructors should bring all your completed forms to Registration. In addition to your tech forms, please make sure you have filled out the Participant Medical Information (Page 5). It is your responsibility to have all these forms completed at registration.
6) Trailer drop off may be available at VIR after 5:30pm at the designated location. We will have a few tech people there for about an hour.

They have given us access to the paddock every year the evening before the event, I doubt this year will be any different. There is typically a big Porsche event going on that Sunday so they don't allow us in until after that 5:30 time frame to give the Porsche guys a chance to clear out.

BTW watch out for the enormous Porsche rigs on the narrow access road leading from Milton to the entrance!

If anyone was looking to pick up one of our brake kits for the event, we can deliver them to you at the track. Our crew will be there on Monday. We'll have these parts on display as well, if you've been wanting to see them in person. Looking forward to meeting some more folks!

Forgot to say...we will be doing some nice raffles as well.

1. Front and rear set of Spiegler SS Brake lines for a C5/C6/C7

2. $600 gift certificate towards the purchase of any of our Essex Designed AP Racing Competition Big Brake Kits for the C5/C6/C7 (shown in the link above).

ps Someone remind me to slap Ken when I get there. :p

Nah, it's not enough to make it worth holding off, I was (mostly) joking. But if you are hauling a trailer it's worth looking through the corners like you're on track as there will be folks coming the other way. I stopped several times on the way in to give outbound folks space cause I take up a lot of room on the road too!

NO, no Porsche event, only BMW (Tarheel BMW Club) and they know how to drive. No problem on the road
See you all when you get here. I am already at VIR.

Picked up my new C7 on Tuesday, spent the last 4 days putting some miles on it, and it should be officially broken in somewhere between home and VIR. Strange going to the track without a rig full of stuff. See you all there tomorrow.
