I am planning on running the car is ST-1 or SU depending on the Dyno.

I got word today that the engine is apart & all looks like a simple refresh new rings, bearings, gaskets, valves & valve springs.

can you let us know how you make out on the dyno?
kinda curious how the traditional GTA combinations compare to the LS1.
my ASA LS1 tour motor is 408HP to the rear wheels.

Ill keep you in the loop my Vette had a ASA Motor in the car & made about 415 before I made any changes.

I have seen a few ASA LS1 car dynos in Texas as ST director & they are all in that 410-415 range.

Stopped by the BEMCO shop today, and Woody had new interior aluminum installed and had just got the body back from the painter (nice job) VERY RED! The motor was back from Byron Koury and is ready to install. I would think the body will go back on tomorrow.

This is gonna be one helluva fine racer, with a fresh 500 HP motor and new body and interior at a hard to beat number.

Smart move Rene

First if i have to say The Bemco boys are a fine group of guys! We arrived at the Bemco shop Thursday & a power outage out them behind schedule. They stayed late to get her done in time to shake it down at Sebring.

Shaking it down on the Sebring short course was tough since I was new to the track & the car.

Just stepped out of the car at Road Atlanta. I'm starting to get the feel for the car & what she can do have some minor seating & foot pedal adjustments to make but all minor.

Car is a blast to drive!

Rene came to Woody's shop and got fitted to the car, including seat, steering and pedal placement.
