Default Installing harness

I received a set of harnesses for Christmas. Want to install in the C5 Z06. Would like to know what I need to do to retain the factory belts. I attend 3/4 events a year. Have the Corbeau seats. Still need to get a Hans device. Thanks

I've used these for years.
You will also need a shoulder harness bar

Zed06 and TimT, thanks for the help. Will have to get a set of these. Installed the bar way back when I got the car.

Can anyone post up a pic of those brackets installed? I have a harness bar installed, and a harness (non clip style attachments) and I have a set of Hardbar seat bracket for Corbeau fixed back seats, these ones:

Before I rip into this thing, I'd like to figure out how to mount the harness. Do I need those BK brackets or can I just use the Hardbar seat brackets?

My lap belts are attached to the brackets, but I've run in to a snag with the sub belts.

Apparently you can also mount them directly to the rails, but the eye bolts that came with my Schroth are 7/16" and thats too large for the M10 holes in the rails.

I'm currently trying to source a new eye bolt (Teamtech supposedly makes one but I'm confirming the size, part # is 2610 for the kit).

Edit:

I ended up just drilling the brackets to mount my sub belts. I'm not sure if this is really an ideal location but it works. An alternative would be to order a piece of 1/4" 6063 T6 bar (McMaster link) and drill that so the holes are a located a bit more towards the center.

I use these for my harness in conjunction with the stock 3pt system.
