Melting Slicks
This is a NOLA Motorsports Park Dec1st 2013. First time on Rcomp tires, they were 4 years old but I picked up 3.5 seconds a lap.
Car is a 99 Z29, full streetcar, 3800lbs. Best lap was a 2:02.1. I have to figure those tires out, learning curve involved for sure. My posi unit was also completely dead, I have since replaced it.

Here are a few laps from an open test day at Thunderhill on Firday with a new personal best lap time for me. I still think that I'm leaving about 1 to 1 1/2 seconds on the table for that "perfect lap" but the faster I go the harder and harder it seems to get there lol!

Thunderhill is a blast! It's deceptively simple looking at first but it's actually quite technical as it combines a lot of elevation changes, off camber corners, blind corners etc. etc. It's one of my favorite local tracks that is going to get even better as they are adding on another 2+ miles of track! You can see the turn off for they are building for the new section of track on the right side just after turn 8 (roughly the 1:07 on my last video). From there here is a ride along in a quad of what the new sections will be like! Once the new section is completed the track is going to be over 5 miles long
