Mike's Jerico tranny and Nascar 9" rear gear came in as well as the Nascar fire system. An automatic 10# system to cover the fuel cell/rear of the car and a separate unit for the cockpit and motor.

The chassis is out getting powder coated

Mike Beckers took delivery of his new tube frame C6 racer over the weekend. Woody, Steve Branton & Mike Kopka of Bemco pulled a couple of all-nighters to get it finished so Mike could take it home to South Dakota on Monday. Mike was entered in the SCCA drivers school at Daytona for the weekend and he did the classroom thing on Friday night and then hung with his instructor Greg Camp on Saturday while the boys thrashed on the car all through Saturday night. The car was loaded to head to the track and arrived at DIS about 1000 Sunday. It then had to go through tech. Mike finally had a chance to get a few laps in her in the afternoon. Unfortunately a fuel pressure issue (fluctuating and intermittent) kept Mike from getting any real seat time in. That was disappointing, and Woody didn't have much time at the track to resolve this. IMSA and Trans Am driver Bobby Kennedy got in the car and had the same problem. Bobby said, "that car is gonna be bad fast...wish I could drive it with it running properly."

Woody has already talked with Doug Rippie at DRM in Minn. and he is gonna help Mike get the fuel pressure issue resolved.

The motor seems VERY healthy and at 2390 pounds dry it will be wicked.

Here is a couple pics

Thanks guys. Woody and the boys at Bemco built a really nice piece. Looking forward to getting some seat time in the beast once the fuel pressure issue is worked out and the weather cooperates.

Any plans for MAM NASA event on April 26, 27? I would love chasing such a sweet looking blue car.

Ron, I am signed up for the event at MAM in April, but the car will not be sorted in time. I hope to be ready to go in May.

The c6 looks great, and not massively different from the road car externally (apart from the massive wing ). How different are the external dimenssions than its road going counterpart?

The wheel base is stock 105.7

I think the width is about 78"

The body was developed to fit on a stock chassis

Woody used a NASCAR COT wing.

Woody has access to the molds for the body
