Very little on ours as Woody shortened the wheelbase a couple inches to move the cab around to fit. that one is now on about a 103 WB vs 105.

On a couple others he did he had to cut and move the A posts on the cage and a couple other small changes, but it wasn't a big deal for him.
He did that to keep them at 105 wb.

Despite that some will say it can't be done to an ASA chassis, it can and has.

Below is the Camaro that Bemco built for Larry the Roofer from NYC. The chassis was an ASA type. The A posts were relocated.

Mike Beckers Chassis under construction at Bemco. The chassis pictured at the start of this thread was a prototype chassis for another project.

Woody has some big Nascar AP calipers coming for the front of this car, plus an ATL cell, and a Jerico tranny. He already picked up some Penske shocks.

The body now being fitted up on the "Beckers" chassis. Fits very well, with the main hoops, "A" posts etc not visible when looking straight in through the side windows. 22 gal 33x9x17 cell Nascar type cell just did fit. This is gonna be one sweet racer.

Note the Carbon Fiber driver door. The only piece that came in CF. weighs virtually nothin', this will be nice as it will be hinged to open, unlike SCCA GT-1 types.

I think this one is gonna come in about 100# lighter than mine and with about 75 more HP and 70 more pds ft of torque.

So Mike, What if MAM is not open for track time next year?
Will you be coming to BIR with your sweet new ride?

Thanks Brad. I have been watching the videos you have been posting from ECR. You are getting faster as you get more familiar with the new car. I am definetly excited to get out next year with the new ride!

I would love to come to BIR. I have not driven that track yet. Maybe NASA could put on a joint event with the central and midwest regions.

Mike got fitted in his new racer this weekend. I'll try to get some new pics today.

Sorry about the weather Mike, it was a little cool at about 70 degrees.

What are you talking about? Cool?? It was in the single digits when I stepped off the plane in South Dakota yesterday. I want to thank you and Woody for the hospitality while we were there. I am excited to come back in January when the car is done.

It's really cold today, only got up to 63.

Can't wait to see your racer on track.

Mike's body is out getting painted. The guy that is painting it does very nice work.

His tranny and rear gear are coming in next week from Nascar country.
