After Watkins, David Farmer Racing will be installing the Kooks headers and midpipe and then it will get tuned by Alvin at PCM of NC on October 23rd. Alvin will put a couple of tunes it in so I can switch between ST2 and ST3 via a flipchip ECM or a reflash. I haven't entire decided which way I want to go with that.

After the headers and tune, we will tackle the aero.

I got tired looking at all that work, you should slow down a bit, don't want to overwork yourself

Thanks, gentlemen!

Just trying to catch up to the rest of the SE C5 Mafia. None of them have driving age teenage daughters. This has been painful to their college tuition plans. LOL.

Thanks for the pics. I just finished a complete rebuild/ST2 prep of my '00 FRC. I got a ton of pictures I should post up a thread. I also had to clearance my lower control arms for the snap rings on the sphericals. Car looks great, congrats.

Very nice... makes me glad I dropped out as I certainly don't have the funds to go as far as everyone else is doing now.

I only have 1 teenage daughter left in the house and she's a senior..........I feel your pain.
A day at the Glen and a few drinks afterwards, you'll forget you have a daughter
Looking forward to spending some time on track with you next week and seeing the "new" car!

Congrats on the build and best of luck to you!

I'm in the teenagers at home club too with a 13, 14, and 16 year old. Luckily you have David Farmer to help you out with the lift. I figure I've saved well over 6 figures doing my own work over the past 5 years. Not a bad return for a $1500 lift and set of tools . Plus I enjoy it as part of the hobby and I have nobody to blame except myself when I screw up.

Thanks, Bill! Yeah, having bought two cars in the past 1.5 years put a hit on the racing budget for certain.

I keep telling the girls if they opt out of college (better not), then I am going to have one helluva ST1 car. LOL.

I didn't think the C5 PCM could have switchable tunes (other than a reflash via PC) - what is this flipchip thing?
