Default '63 Grand Sport Racer at Bloomington Gold PICS!

Hi Guys,

The '63 Grand Sport has ALWAYS been my favorite car and I finally had a chance to see it in person this weekend! I snapped as many pics as I could and hope you enjoy them as much as I do!

That's some backwards looking aero on those wheel wells but a very cool piece of history.

Beautiful car.

But it must missed being raced. Poor, poor car.

I know this car very well. It's the most accurately restored Grand Sport out there. When Mr. Collier purchased the car it had shiny paint and was no where close to being correct. He feels that a car must be restored to it's original condition. It should never become a historical fiction. This is the way it should be done.

You might want to take a look at the web site of the people who did the restoration on this car.

btw - back in the day these cars were simply called the lightweights.
