If I didn't have so much money wrapped up in my C4 I would buy this! That is an awesome deal for a well sorted, very fast C5Z. Good luck with the sale Joel.

Gonna hate not seeing Rory in that car. I had a LOT of fun racing against him at Nationals this year.

Stupid Question...would this be a good car for HPDE events....I currently run a 11 C6 GS but I'm concerned about my Safety without a cage. I don't want to tear my car apart to make it safer...so I'm considering getting something that already has it done. I don't plan on actually racing...

NOTE to those considering "building" a racecar: there is NO WAY that you can come close to building a race Corvette for anything like $25,000!

Also note any used racecar, no matter the provenance, is still a used racecar. It has been raced so it is not a concours winner most likely and stuff will break. That being said you still cannot build one right any cheaper then buying an existing car 99% of the time.

Congratulations!! You are one of the few people in HPDE that I have seen expressing concern with their safety. All of us who have been racing understand this. I will add to the previous statements that you cannot build a car for less than you can buy one alread prepared. Ask me how I know, and it was at the autocross level, not track or racing.
