A little personal testimony and thanks to a great company.
My favorite places to buy vette related products from are DRM, LGM and Katech... but in particuliar DRM.
I recently bought a very perfect yellow 2008 Z06 and wanted to start getting it ready for HPDE events at my local track in Topeka.
One purchase was steel braided lines from DRM. The install was straightforward, and the lines are awesome. But I made a mistake and nicked the surface of the internal metal line, and so when I bled fluid to the calipers, I had a leak at the juncture of the metal line, and the new steel braided line. I'm fair with mechanical stuff, but no expert and was fretting whether I had a $50K paper weight on jack stands. Ugghhhh... I talked to Randy at DRM who patiently walked me through some trouble shooting / ideas for fixing. With a little more work, and even after some hard brake pedal action... No more leaks. Dry as a bone and ready for the track.
This type of patient advice for novices like myself is just invaluable.
So... if your in similiar shoes as mine, DRM is a great place to go for parts and solid advice. Period.
And no, I'm not a paid spokesman of any sort... I'm just some guy in the Army who, time willing, wants to use his Corvette for what it was made for... the track.
Thanks for reading and considering and THANK YOU RANDY!

Randy, Doug and Todd are all great peeps! I've been going to them for about 5 yrs now for all my work, maintenance and mods. They have been super great! I'm lucky enough to be local and whenever I need something (usually last minute), they always pull through for me!
As long as I have a Vette, they will be my shop of choice!

Always a good response from DRM.. Always time to talk to, an enthusiast, even one in Georgia.
Most things they still have for C4 are on our car.
A lot of places push C6 and that's all they want to sell... I guess they tolerate the C5 people because of the numbers, but C4??
Lots of UN-returned emails.
LG is pretty normal too...

Thanks guys for the kind words
Just some Army guy? That is BS, you are in the Untied States of America Army and that does mean something to me
Fixing brake lines is a walk in the park for me. In-between living in the salt state, driving crap and really like hanging it out on dirt roads. I guy gets good at fixing brake lines
Lunch time

I can attest for the great service by all at DRM.
First time I met Randy was a few years ago when he posted a set of C5 wheels for sale. My buddy and I left Bloomington around 7, and arrive at the old location in Buffalo, when it was at your shop out of town. Not only did we receive a personal tour of the shop at like 10pm, we got to ******** with Randy and see a bunch of cool cars in all the nooks and crannies of that shop. It was a pure pleasure for two car enthusiast to see the shop on such a personal basis.
Great service and cool down to earth guys!

Great shop. Just did a TVS 2300 for me on my 2010 camaro. These guys are interested in seeing a car that makes great power and runs well, not in just making a sale. Kept me posted throughout the process and were very knowledgeable and informative. Also patient with my endless questions. Got the car back last Friday, very professional job and it runs flawlessly. I'd never go anyplace else.
