Holy Keerap!!! You just twisted my brain in a knot as I remembered a day 46 years ago when I fell into that 4 year black hole!!!!

Send my best regards to him, and tell him to get that chin tucked in farther!!!!

Oh wait - they don't do that any more!!! And they've got girls there now!!!

Oh well, like we used to say: "the Corps has..." (i.e., GTH).

It's probably all for the better though, because it was pretty rotten when I was there!!!

Butt....it's an experience that will make him tough, determined, disciplined, and a hard worker who won't settle for anything but the best result from any effort he puts into every mission he's given!!!

This was also my 6th NCM and is one of the highlights of my year. Overall a great time, thanks again to Roc, Tom and all the others who helped to make this another stellar event.

It was great to renew past friendships and make new ones. Hope to see you next year.

Got a new GoPro but didn't do something right so just pictues of me looking at the camera. Ha Oh well I will try again.

Best to everyone, be safe and God Bless.

Some video from the Tuesday sessions in the Red Group. Driving around VIR with Kirk B. (GM) and Mike N. on a June day with amazing weather. Some footage running with JD and my buddy Matthew (#427). It was great to see everyone.

Great job! I remember every turn. You ran through the instructor group like the other cars were orange cones.

2 great lessons in the video here in preserving the motor:

1) You're short shifting is exactly how to make equipment last -- run fast laps by carrying speed consistently through the turns and not banging it off the rev limiter.

2) Using the brakes, not the engine to slow the car down.

I was fortunate enough to have J. Heinricy drive my car (seen at the 10:00 min. mark) and observe how easily he can shift. I don't think he really needed a clutch and probably never even touched the synchronizers. He is one fast, smooth driver! Your pass on us before the Uphill Esses was awe inspiring as well.

First year at VIR and had a blast. Thanks to Roc, Bob, Karen and the entire NCM staff and help. Although I was unable to bring my 2010 Grand Sport down due to a fuel pump fuse issue the use of Roc's Cobalt made up for it. Look forward to next year. Only thing I would like to see (but I know it would be alot of work) would be like a get together cookout/dinner one of the two nights.

Yep, great time with all the Vettes there. Too bad VIR could not provide more than one emergency crew for the track rental.

My take on a little video

The rear tires were absolutly junk. This is the last run group of the event before the track shut down.

Might be possible...back in 2007 and I think in 2009 also, they had a dinner the first night. Dinner was in big room above the snack bar. I think this might have been a casualty of the economy...Porsche groups used to give T-shirts at every DE and they dropped that in 2009. I've only gotten T-shirts from the NCM group and 1 from TrackDaze after 2008.

Paul,
Thanks for the pics. I remember sitting in my Camaro looking at all the Corvettes in front of me thinking that I was going to be very busy giving a lot of point by's
