We go I-26 to I-40 to I-75 to I-64 to I-65 to I-80 to Joliet. We can come through Bowling Green and pick you up if we need to?

The only new mods this year were a lighter clutch/flywheel assembly and battery. But in general, it's amazing how additional horsepower can make up for a deficiency of driving talent!

HP has nothing to do with going all out until the 3.5 brake marker on the back straight at 160+ then reeling it back in to make the turn.

Take a bow!

The system is a Racelogic VBox Lite. It records data and video all at the same time, no post processing. I really like it.

Adam was driving my '09 Z06. For a guy who has not been on track for 3 years, and never driven at VIR, Adam did a great job and was moved up to the black group on Tuesday. There should be no doubt that Adam is a very good driver .... even if Andy was faster!

Painrace, that is a very generous offer for the Track Attack! I hope Adam can take you up on it.

I hope Im still having fun like that in my later years - anyone who is retired and still hauling *** around a track is living the life!
My son was there, 19 yrs. old.

I was a little bit nervous because he is entering the U. S. Military Academy at West Point tomorrow!

Col. Dave took good care of him, and he did just fine.

I have been in contact with the individual and his travel friends.

Update the medical emergency:

"The doctor at

> combination of heat exhaustion, just plain old exhaustion
> and most importantly, due to a bad lack of sleep - I was
> only getting 4 hours per night for the week or so leading up
> to VIR, and that's not enough, obviously.

> Again, please accept my apology and please pass it on to Roc
> and the rest of the organizing crew+participants. I've
> been racing and instructing for 36 years and I know how much
> it hurts to lose track time unnecessarily... I hate to
> be the black cloud over everyone's fun."

This could have been anyone of us no matter how much or little experience we have.

Drinking fluids, and plenty of rest are very important.

Been to every NCM @ VIR and this was the best and most organized one yet!

What was the best part? Having the Chief Engineer of Corvette Racing join me for some laps around the track!

Track time means nothing when it comes to your health. It was no big deal to most of us just another day at the track with no real damage!
