Penske's, Moton's or Ohlin's...Where to Buy?
Time to upgrade to a better shock for autocross.
Where can I buy Penske's, Moton's or Ohlin's? The Corvette store does list Penske's. The Koni's, 8 series I think, could be a good choice too.
Your help is appreciated as usual.
Thanks
Tex

I have used Konis, Penskes and Motons, by far the Motons were my favorite. We did just get some AST's built for our new car, but I have not tried them yet.

Ohlins is probably Bruce @ Performance Shock (http://performanceshock.com/shock-absorbers/ohlins) or Douglas Brenner @ Brenner Fabrication (http://www.brennerfabrication.com/). Both were willing to work out an Ohlins set up but I'm pretty sure neither have a stock replacement style set up yet.
Bruce wanted to machine the rear LCAs to use a spherical rather than the large tuning fork and was doing his best to avoid pintops ... might be easier now that HardbarUSA offers their upper shock mount clevis (http://hardbarusa.com/hardbar/produc...roducts_id=109), too. Douglas was more willing to work to make "stock" replacements.
