DTCs with racing seats?
I heard rumor that a C6 will throw DTCs and limit performance when it detects a failed airbag! So if I replace the seats with a set of Arizen Racing seats, with no airbag what happens?

I have the stock drivers seat with the airbag. 3LT package
I took it out unplugging all the harnesses and put in a Corbeau seat. No codes no DIC warnings. you get the idiot light on the airbag is all.
So on the seatbelts-- I had an extra female end from a generic install on my Honda. I bolted it to the racing seat for driving on the street.
If you have the telescoping steering wheel you can get the aftermarket wiring harness, take the box out from the stock seat and hook it up so it will work.

When I still had the airbag, all I got was the red idiot light and nothing else.

Take the SCM & wiring harness off of your stock seat plug it in and throw it under the seat. No codes, no issues and every thing works.
