I ended up using the same combo and really like the position of the wheel. The only change over stock Is that when I put the wheel low enough Im blocking the top park of the gauges.

Can you give me more info about your racepak? How do you like it?

I removed the mechanical lock mechanism on mine. It was several years ago so I don't clearly remember everything, but I machined off all the "spoked" on the ring that engages with the lock. If you don't have a lathe you can simply cut them off. It just won't be as clean, but work just as well.

Finished my install yesterday of my new ATI hub and Sparco 325 wheel. If you measure from the the plastic face of the DIC to the outer surface of the week, it is 13.5 inches.

The splines on the ATI hub did not seat all the way down on the splines on the steering shaft. Looking at other peoples photos, I'm thinking I might even have more engagement, based on how far down the nut is screwed. I'll be emailing ATI on Monday just to make sure.

I delayed taking off the column lock completely since I already have a CLB kit installed. Will have 2 lbs of weight to cut out later - especially if I wind up deleting the wipers later!

That might be complicated because of the airbag wires but would be cool if executed

75 looks good but doesn't appear to have anything to do with the steering wheel thread

does anyone have the wiring or photos of putting the the resistor(s) for the steering wheel airbag? I have not found a kit nor a writeup - just "use a 3 ohm resistor" which is pretty vague... where, which connector slots, how many resistors, what kind of 3 ohm resistors - 5 watt or 10 watt or what?

thanks!

First noting all disclaimers regarding the removal of the airbag, you do this on your own.

I used the following link as a guide install my Momo wheel.

https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...stall-diy.html

I bought the resistor on Ebay several years ago that was designated for a C5, but as the link says you can use One 2 Ohm or Two 1 Ohm resistors to kill airbag light. the connector is behind the knee bolster under the wheel column, the link has pics.

My Momo wheel using a NRG short hub adapter and NRG 2.0 Quick Disconnect.Fully functional horn. The horn ring and button I got on Ebay so I did not have to have the MOMO logo that came with the button on the wheel.
