The ONLY thing STUPIDER ;-) than the gridding of the cars....was the dumbasses getting out of their car and standing around with their hands in their pockets 20 feet from a live race track!

Wow, was that the first event that club has ever had? That is just setting up for failure, and unfortunately it happened. Hope the drivers are ok, hope the idiots that ran the event are shut down. That is just incompetence ....

Holy smokes! Do you think the guys that got hit recieved any money to pay for damages? Could the host club be responsible for any damages since they told them to grid in an unsafe area?

Holy crap!! Isnt it rule of thumb never to turn your back on a car on the track that close to you?

Holy crap! Isn't it a rule of thumb never to BE on the track with cars running that close to you?!?!?

If I was the owner of that G35 I wouldn't stop kicking until they stopped moving.

EDIT: On a side note, what was the guy with the camera doing in the second video?? Stopping to take a closer look??

Various participants and witnesses duke it out here:
http://www.lotustalk.com/forums/f100...-happen-22812/

Apparently it was common for organizations to grid their cars at that place. Weird.

i've been there with PDA and ran that section of Pocono. I do not remember gridding there. I think that's an old video. They've merged with NASA now.
