Default VIR with THSCC

Just got back form a weekend at VIR. It was my first trip up and I christened my instructor with 4 off at Oak Tree. Loved that place. Can not wait to get back!

Wilderness PCA is doing a one day, five session event in March. Anybody done an event with those guys? Just curious...

what were you driving? I was in the black C5 with the #20 on the side. I also instructed the guy in the shelby gt500 (which was sweet).

It was a great weekend. THSCC puts on a great, well organized and safe event. Weather cooperated until the hurricane winds came up at Sunday noon.

I was also there. It was my first time doing any HPDE event. Now I'm looking for seats and harnesses.

I had the silver c6 that spun out the last green session of Sunday on turn 1/2. I totally blew that!

Anyhow, I took pictures, but only put up a few. I can look through my pictures if somebody wants one. Let me know your number and car info...

Wally (who drives butt ugly) I need to get you your jumper cables.... I kept them to go get gas and lunch just in case, but you were gone by the time I came back.

Give me your addy and I'll mail them down.

Thanks again to all the corvette RR guys there, they were all able to lend a helping hand and advice from experience while I was changfing my fuel pump. I can't wait to see you all again!

Again,a special thanks to HRTRacer for driving me halfway to NOVA to meet my dad and get the part.

I had a great time and learned a lot from you. Stacy is hosting a lapping day at CMP on March 10th, I may try that one. My friends told me to buy those pictures of us going off at 17. Those are cool. I think Ted got a kick out of that.

I was driving the '03 Z06, Yellow. The GT 500 looked great. You could hear that engine whining down the front straight. I saw your car out there also. It was a well run, fun event.

I knew you were on here glen! I was chris's instructor for the one session he ran I'm glad you liked the car, it looked fast and like it was a ton of fun! good luck in scca.

The gt was nice, but a little quiet, all i could hear was the blower when he got on it (which was almost never, lol). It was a great event, and i hope more of you do the TT next year!

Oh, and Sbuckley, if you have any pics of the #20 black corvette that would be great (thats me).
