Tunnel boat 4 G's

F-1 tunnel boat 1100 lbs, 400hp, 0-100mph in 4 seconds, 140mph top speed, 4-g's in the turns...all on WATER!!!

The hulls are 13' fully encapsulated tunnel boats made from such modern materials as carbon fiber and Kevlar. Powered by a two cylinder Super Stock OMC (Evinrude or Johnson) 45 Cubic Inch motor and any configuration three blade propeller. No modifications to original manufacturer specifications may be made with exception of either 30 over on the bore or complete re-sleeve. These boats can accelerate from 0 to 75 mile per hour in under 8 seconds and can pull upwards of 4 G's in the tight single pin turns. Highly maneuverable, these boats ride on just the last foot and a half of the boat. Straightaway speeds are over 80 miles per hour and the Kilo record is at 92 miles per hour. The hulls of this class are the virtual second cousins to the V-6 powered CHAMP BOAT- Formula 1 class. This is one of largest class of racing tunnel boats in the OPC (Outboard Performance Class) category under the American Power Boat Association (A.P.B.A.) with over 80 registered drivers across the Country. The competitiveness and cost effectiveness are what make this class so popular

But F1 doesn't race at Daytona

I just thought of that one in particular because it's the only high-speed banked turn on the F1 calendar, different enough to catch Michelin by surprise with the stresses it put on the tires. To get huge lateral G's you need a ton of downforce and banking. Cart (or was it IRL?) had this combo at TMS, but F1 cars make more downforce so....anyway I forgot where I was going with this, so...
