1990 C4 Track Car For Sale
I am selling my 1990 C4 track car. It was originally built for the TTA class in NASA which has been gone for some time now. It should fit in TT3 with a little ballast pretty easy. I have been running it in the Unlimited 1 class with SCCA Time Trial groups and still being competitive (I won the year end championship for U1 in 2019 with Great Lakes Div SCCA) despite making only 330hp to the tire. I am in the middle of raising two kids and just dont get the time to enjoy this car as much as I would like. I would like to get a street car to play with but I dont have room for another car unless I sell one, and this one gets used the least. It would make a great reliable track car, time trial car, HPDE toy, or finish the cage and go wheel to wheel racing. I have only had the car out a handful of time since finishing the build.
Current lap times:
Putnam Park - 1:15.9
Nelson Ledges - 1:11.7
NCM Full Grand (best estimate, no official timing that day) - 2:13-2:15 possibly faster
I am asking $10k OBO, which is a fraction of what it would take to build.

Considering parting this out. I will not take it apart until I have commitments on the big items (engine, transmission, suspension, etc.). Let me know what you are interested in and I will make a list.

This hurts my heart facsimile (how my wife describes it) to think about it not going complete.

What will it take to get this sold? $9K? $8K? Make an offer I need this gone and would rather not part it out. I am also accepting charitable donations and sponsorship money towards another car if no one wants the C4 but still wants to help my cause!

It has been awhile since I have had it on scales, but its around 2800 ish without driver. If I can borrow a set of scales Ill get a more accurate number.
UPDATE: I will be able to borrow a set of scales this weekend and then get the car on them in the next few days.
